Biography

Amanda lives in Monkton, Maryland with her husband, Brian, and son Evan.  Her daughter, Corinne, recently married Ben, and they live in Sparks, MD.  Her middle son, Nikolay, is serving in the Army in Germany.  Brian and Amanda have been married since 1995.

Amanda grew up in Illinois and moved to Maryland when she was 10 years old.  She was raised in a Christian home and gave her life to the Lord at the age of 7.   She taught Sunday School and sang on the worship team at church during her teen and young adult years.   She attended Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and received a Bachelor of Science in Business degree.  She also attended The Johns Hopkins University and completed 18 credits toward a Master’s degree in Business Marketing.

She homeschooled all 3 of her children from kindergarten to graduation.  She coordinated a homeschool group and planned field trips and events for families in the Southern York area for many years.  She enjoyed those years and has fond memories of the time they spent together learning as a family!

In addition to her role as a Worship Administrator at Living Hope, she works a full-time job as a CADD Designer.  She enjoys working from home in both roles.

She began attending Living Hope Church the 2nd Sunday the church met at the YMCA back in 2007.  She has served as a Sunday School teacher, a Youth worker, and a member of the Worship team for the past 15 years.

She enjoys spending time with friends and family.  She is a part of an accountability group at Living Hope and enjoys investing in and growing with the other ladies in her group.
