Outreach Teams at Living Hope are designed to help people use their unique gifts and passions to engage our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Bridge of Hope: This ministry provides support, training, and housing assistance to single mothers experiencing homelessness in York County and beyond. People on this team have received training to become “Neighboring Volunteers” to support these moms with practical needs, babysitting, meals, friendship, and encouragement. - Children’s Outreach Team: These volunteers have a heart for the children and families in our community. They coordinate several fun opportunities throughout the year to reach out and share Christ in a way that connects with kids, including Light the Night, Christmas Bash, Easter Bash, and Summer Outreach in the Park. - Evangelism Team: This team builds awareness, brainstorms ideas, and is a witness for Christ. Their goal is to embrace Jesus’ calls for followers to be a light, share the Gospel, and invite people to follow him through various activities in the community where they spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. - Missions Team: Living Hope supports of variety of ministries and missionaries outside our local church who are involved in evangelism, church planting, and mercy ministry. The missions team prays for these missionaries, sends letters of encouragement, communicates with the elders regarding needs, and promotes awareness to the congregation. - Service Outreach Team: These men and women serve the practical needs of families in our community that need repairs or projects done on their homes. The goal is to not just meet their physical needs but to minister to their heart as well. Contact: pastortim@findlivinghope.com.
- YMCA Outreach Team: This team seeks to make the most of our partnership with the YMCA. As they pray for the membership, serve the staff, support the programming, and organize unique events, they shine as lights for Christ. The highlight of this team is a monthly outreach making fresh fruit smoothies as a way to engage with members. Contact: pastortim@findlivinghope.com.
