Children’s Director
As our Children’s Director, Brittney Perkins coordinates the teachers and students for our five Sunday morning children’s classes. Brittney works with the children’s deacon and team leaders to keep our curriculum and classroom needs moving in the right direction.
Biography
Brittney grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and currently lives in Carroll County with her husband, Joseph and two children, Daniel and Abigail. Joseph and Brittney have been married since 2008.
Brittney and Joseph both came to Christ in 2007 at a youth retreat in Tennessee. There, the Lord gave them a new life in Himself and began the journey of merging their paths together as a couple.
Brittney studied Elementary Education at Shippensburg University and later worked as an Office Manager at Towson University. She has also been a daycare provider for various families over the course of 13+ years. After the birth of her first child, she joyfully traded her full-time job outside of the home for being a full-time homemaker.
Brittney is passionate about sharing the gospel, helping and encouraging people, and caring for children. She enjoys singing/listening to music, journaling, cooking, hanging out with family and friends, and learning/studying theology, movements in the global church, apologetics and cults.
