Sunday School Resources

Think beyond Sunday morning! These resources are available as an extension to the Sunday classes. Contact our Children’s Director Jan Null with additional questions: children@findlivinghope.com.

The preschooler class is in for some wonderful Sunday mornings as the teachers
share many stories that are adult favorites. The stories include Jesus calming the
storm, healing a blind man, and feeding 5000. Chapter titles include: the Good
Samaritan, The Good Shepherd, a Forgiving King, and a loving father who cares for them.

The winter curriculum begins with stories of Jesus as a boy in the temple and
continue with his baptism and his temptation in the desert. The lessons that
follow focus on his teachings, including lessons on worry, parable of different
kinds of soil, forgiveness and the workers in the vineyard. Be asking your children
on the ride home from church how the words of Jesus impact their little lives.

The students in grades 4-6 continue their study “His Purpose Will Stand.” This
curriculum teaches truths concerning the providence of God. Lessons reinforce
the truth that God is the sovereign Ruler of the universe continually at work in the world. In the lessons ahead, there will be instruction and discussion of how evil, misfortune, pain, suffering and circumstances can be understood under the
umbrella of providence.
