We’re grateful to be able to gather for worship in these challenging times. If you plan to join us in person, please follow our LHC COVID-19 Gathering Plan (PDF) including keeping space between family groups and wearing a face covering while inside the YMCA unless seated 6 feet from others (except small children and those who are not able because of health or conscience). Please refer to our Gathering Plan on the website for all the details. Thanks for being sensitive to those around you!
We will continue to offer Livestream each Sunday morning at 10am on our YouTube channel as well as post Video Services to this page each week.
Are you a First Time Visitor? Whether you join us in person or on our Livestream, we want to connect with you! Fill out a Visitor Form and our staff will contact you.
What to Expect:
Contemporary Worship. Relevant Messages. Vibrant Programs. Authentic People.
We’re excited that you’re considering joining us on Sunday mornings. We’re a group of real people gathered to seek after a real God because we believe that in Him there is real hope. You’ll find our meetings contemporary, upbeat, down-to-earth, and serious about worshiping God. Our music is lively with lyrics that honor God. We’re gathered to worship God in unity, but we also give you freedom to sing, stand, sit, or raise your hands as you’re led. The morning message is always grounded in God’s Word and relevant to our everyday lives. Learn more about our goals for Sunday gatherings.
Mask & Spacing COVID-19 Plan
The elders and deacons have updated our mask guidelines for attendance at all indoor church events at the YMCA. This update is in response to: 1) rising COVID-19 hospitalizations, 2) consideration for the state and federal guidelines and recommendations, and 3) out of a desire to protect the vulnerable in our community and help worshippers to feel safe. At this time, everyone attending any indoor church gathering (except small children and those who are not able because of health or conscience) are asked to wear a face-covering unless seated 6 feet from others (except small children and those who are not able because of health or conscience). We intend to continue monitoring local conditions and recommendations and update our guidelines as appropriate. Parents use your best judgment in applying these guidelines to your children. If you have any questions, please speak to one of the elders or deacons. Thanks for being sensitive to those around you!

Where? & Wear?
We meet at the Southern York County YMCA located on 100 Constitution Avenue, just off the Susquehanna Trail (Why the Y?). Our worship service starts at 10:00 a.m., but you’re invited to come at 9:45 a.m. to have a cup of coffee and meet some people. Please wear whatever you’re comfortable in; but if you wear a tie, you’ll probably upstage the pastor!
Children are an important part of who we are, and we’re glad to have them with us. Our nursery staff is available to care for children under 3 during the entire service. If you’d rather keep them with you, that’s fine too. The rest of the kids join the beginning of the service before going to classes. It can be a challenge, but we think having children worship with us is pleasing to God. They have a great time in their classes making crafts, playing games, and learning about God. The junior and senior high teens stay with us for the entire service – and even manage to get something out of it!
During COVID, we have adjusted our Children’s Ministry Gathering Plan (Winter update) to accommodate classes for Preschool-6. We will continue to keep safety protocols in place, but will be open to make changes as necessary to ease certain practices or increase the number of classes as needed. . We will look to resume offering nursery when feasible during this phase.
