Navajo BIC Mission Trip

Register above with a $200 deposit by March 1, 2020.

When: Saturday, August 1 – Saturday, August 8, 2020

Purpose: This trip with Navajo BIC Mission provides a unique opportunity to interact and serve the Navajo nation, a community with significant spiritual needs living in poverty conditions.

Ministry: The week will be a combination of work projects, team activities, and free time. The work site will be at the Navajo BIC mission near Bloomfield, NM. The type of work projects will depend on our group’s skills and the needs at the mission.  The week will break-down as follows:

Accommodations: The team will stay on the mission in a 4 bedroom house. If the team is larger, we will be housed in the Overcomers Building.  Either way, meals will be prepared and eaten on site.

Preparation: In addition to following the payment and form schedule below, you’ll need to attend several team meetings before the trip for training and team building.

Cost & Support Raising: Your payment covers all traveling costs, housing, meals, and project costs.  You are encouraged to send support letters to family and friends outside the church for donations.  The church will collect an offering for the trip on a specified Sunday that will be distributed evenly among the team members, equally reducing the cost per person.

Cost is as follows:  $950 per participant

  • March 1 – Online Registration with $200 deposit per person
  • June 1 – Pay remaining $750 payment
